Peter and Birgitta Curtin (the Queen of The Burren) are the owners of both the Roadside Tavern and the Burren Smokehouse which are located in Lisdoonvarna Co. Clare. They started The smokehouse in 1989 initially to supply smoked Salmon to the patrons of the Roadside. The quality of their Smokehouse products soon led to orders from other local hostelries. Now with an enviable reputation for quality, the smokehouse’s products are enjoyed throughout Ireland, The UK and further afield.
With orders piling in for the busy 2016 Christmas season Peter contacted CKFHIRE to supply additional refrigated storage in the form of one of our Super size refrigerated Trailers, to support them over the busy period.
