Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann returned home to Ennis Co. Clare in 2016, after an absence of 29 years attracting huge Numbers of Irish music lovers from around the World to Europe's largest traditional music festival.

Kippure Holiday Village located in the Dublin mountains is one of Ireland's premier wedding venues. In early 2016 a raging fire engulfed the kitchen and reception areas making them unusable. With more than 30 weddings booked things were looking grim indeed.

Peter and Birgitta Curtin ( the Queen of The Burren) are the owners of both the Roadside Tavern and the Burren Smokehouse which are located in Lisdoonvarna Co. Clare. They started The smokehouse in 1989 initially to supply smoked Salmon to the patrons of the Roadside.

Rory Moynihan, the Druid's Chef, brought his celtic kitchen to the recent Groove Festival at Killruddery House and Gardens in Wicklow. He impressed the concert goers with the quality of his menu and unique fare he had on offer.

Bruce Springsteen (The Boss) played two sell out shows at Croke Park in May. With no inhouse catering facilities accessible to patrons who are accommodated on the pitch, temporary facilities must be provided. Aramark, the catering partners at Croke Park engaged CKF hire to provide three high production fast food kitchens to meet this demand.

The annual Galway Races are in full swing at the famous Ballybritt Racetrack. With the upturn in the economy Lydon House, the Racecourse caterers, needed to gear up for a busy week. This called for extra Refrigeration. When a Blast Chiller and Blast Freezer were required Lydons called CKF Hire to provide 10 rack units.

The K Club is currently playing host to the Irish Open Golf Championship. Event sponsors Dubai Duty Free were holding an authentic eastern BBQ on an evening after play finished for the day. When Finbar Higgins, Executive Chef in the K club Hotel needed an authentic Kebab BBQ he called CKF Hire to provide same.

The annual 'Darkness into Light' events were held at various venues throughout Ireland last week. At two of the venues, Denny's, makers of Ireland's best selling sausages, were on hand to provide hungry early morning participants with a hot sausage sandwich after the event ended in the light of dawn.
